Rentals
Create a rental file
Create a file for a customer and optional project.
Updated on August 27, 2026
Completing the page reliably
Check the active company or account before entering data. Complete required fields first, then review dates, amounts, references and selections that influence later processing. Inline validation explains which value is missing or invalid; correct that field before trying again. A disabled submit button usually means that required information is incomplete, invalid or still loading.
Submit only once and wait for the confirmation or the destination page. Repeated clicks can create duplicate work when the first request is still being processed. If saving fails, keep the entered values, read the message and correct only the indicated issue. After success, verify the resulting status or record before continuing with a dependent step.
A rental file links rental items and follow-up to one customer. An active licence and customer are required.
Enter a required Name and choose the Customer. The customer determines later items and draft invoice and cannot be changed after creation. Add a file note. Under Internal, optionally select a project belonging to that customer and add an internal remark.
Choose Create file, then open it to add products.
Customer and project
Only customers are available. Select the customer before a project; the project list is limited to that customer. Customer becomes fixed because returned items are later invoiced together for them. Create another file for another customer.
Notes and result
Use Note for file information and Internal remark for private follow-up. Saving creates no rental product, stock reservation or invoice. Name and customer are required. On failure input remains; after success details opens for adding products.
Questions
Project is disabled until a customer is chosen and remains optional.
