Manage bank account details, PSD2, and transactions
Update account details, manage the PSD2 connection, and review synchronised transactions.
Updated on August 26, 2026
This page combines the account details, PSD2 connection, and imported transactions for one bank account in the active administration. You need access to that administration and an active Billnado licence.
General account details
| Field | Meaning and rules |
|---|---|
| Name | The recognisable name used to find the account in Billnado. |
| IBAN | The account number used for payments and the PSD2 connection. Billnado checks its country format, length, and check digits. You cannot change the IBAN while the PSD2 connection is active. |
| BIC | The international bank code Billnado uses to find the correct bank when you start a PSD2 connection. |
When you change an account detail, Reset changes and Save appear. Reset changes restores the last saved values. Save stores the updated name, IBAN, and BIC.
Connect a bank through PSD2
Choose Connect bank to find banks for the country in the IBAN. Billnado uses the BIC to select the correct institution, so enter a complete BIC of at least eight characters. If no matching bank is found, check the BIC and try again.
Select the correct bank card and choose Select. You are redirected to the bank's consent environment. After successful consent, Billnado verifies that the selected account has exactly the same IBAN and is ready for use. It then starts synchronising the balance and transactions.
Important: this step gives consent through the bank to retrieve account information. Complete it only for an account you are authorised to use.
Use Cancel to close the bank selection without starting the external consent flow.
PSD2 status and disconnection
For a connected account, Billnado shows the most recently imported Balance and Last synchronized time. New information appears when synchronisation is complete.
If the page reports that the PSD2 connection is no longer active, choose Connect bank and complete the consent again. Use Disconnect bank to end the active connection. The imported balance, last synchronisation time, and transactions remain visible, but Billnado no longer retrieves new account information.
Review transactions
The Transactions table is available once the account is connected or has been synchronised before.
| Column or filter | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Incoming and Outgoing | Limit the list to positive or negative amounts. Turning both off produces no results. |
| Direction | Each row is marked as incoming or outgoing. |
| Date | The booking date of the bank transaction. |
| Name | The counterparty name supplied by the bank. |
| Reference | The payment reference or remittance information supplied by the bank. |
| Balance | The transaction amount; positive values are incoming and negative values are outgoing. |
| Matched | Indicates whether Billnado has linked the transaction to a document or payment. |
The search bar searches the counterparty name, IBAN, and reference. You can sort by date, name, reference, and amount. Total shows how many transactions match the current filters.
Without a current or previous PSD2 connection, the page reports that transactions are shown only for connected accounts.
Delete the bank account
You must disconnect an active PSD2 connection first. You can then choose Delete and select the additional confirmation.
Important: deletion is permanent and also removes this account's imported transactions. The account can no longer be used as a default bank account.
