Reading and using the overview
Wait until loading has finished before concluding that an item is missing. Use search, sorting and any available filters to narrow the result, and clear them again when the expected row is not shown. A total or counter applies to the current result set, not necessarily to all data.
Open the matching row only after checking its name, date, status and active work context. Actions may be hidden or disabled because of permissions, the current status, or because the selected context is already active. An empty overview can therefore mean that there are no records, that filters exclude them, or that your user has no access. Refresh once after a completed change; avoid repeating an action while the page is still processing it.
This page lists all rental files in the active administration and requires an active licence.
The table shows file number, Name and Customer. Variables show or hide active, closed and draft files. Search and sort; Details opens a file. Delete requires confirmation and should be used only when the file may be removed.
Total shows matching files. An empty list means none match the filters. Choose Create file to start a rental for a customer.
Filters and status
Status filters combine active, closed and draft files. Enable all relevant choices when a file is missing. Search uses recognisable file data; sort by number, name or customer. Total reacts to filters.
Delete asks confirmation. A file may contain products and invoice history, so open Details first when unsure. Deletion is permanent and is not the same as closing.
Refresh on load failure and verify administration and licence. An empty list may simply result from filters.
Questions
The table shows rental files, not all customers. Add products from Details using Rent product.
