Registering stock manually
Add available stock to an active product either by quantity or with individual serial numbers.

Use this page to add new, available stock items to one active product. You need access to the administration and an active Billnado license. This action is unavailable for an archived product.
Choose a registration method
Register stock with serial number determines how Billnado creates the new items.
| Choice | Use and effect |

| Disabled | Under Number to add, enter how many identical stock items to register. Each item is created separately without a serial number. The quantity is at least 1. |
| Enabled | Enter a Serial Number for each stock item. Select Add for another serial-number field and Delete to remove a row. Every visible serial-number field must contain a value. |
Use serial numbers when individual items must remain identifiable during sales, rentals, warranty handling, or follow-up. Without serial numbers, you can manage the available quantity but cannot distinguish individual items by number.
Warranty
Warranty is the warranty period in months that Billnado applies to every stock item in this registration. The value cannot be negative. Leave it empty when you do not want to record a warranty period.
Register or close

Product information such as SKU, EAN, name, and description is copied to every new stock item at registration time. Later changes to the product page do not change this stored snapshot.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the quantity field no longer visible?
When Register stock with serial number is enabled, Billnado replaces the quantity with separate serial-number fields. Disable it to enter a quantity again.
Why can I not register items with serial numbers?
Every added serial-number field must contain a value. Remove an unnecessary empty row or enter the serial number.
What status do new items receive?
All items receive the available-in-stock status when registered. Later sales, usage, rental, or stock actions can change that status.
