View and manage article categories

This list contains the categories used to group products and services in a recognisable way. You need access to the administration and an active Billnado licence.

Information and search

Column	Meaning
Name	The category name used in article records and selection lists.
Description	Additional information about the category’s purpose or contents. Long text is shortened in the overview.

The search bar searches the name and description. You can sort by either column. Total shows how many categories match the current search.

Actions

Action	Result
Details	Opens the category record to view or change its name and description.
To delete	Requests double confirmation and permanently deletes the category.
Create category	Starts the creation of a new article category.

Important: deletion is irreversible. Check that you no longer need the category or its grouping before continuing.

When no category matches the search, Billnado shows an empty list. Clear the search text to see all categories again.
